listening history logged to their Last.fm profile just like digital plays are.

Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming apps scrobble automatically through official
integrations. But if you're spinning records on a turntable or playing a tape deck, there's
no built-in way to track that. Scrobbling.live fills that gap: it listens through your
microphone, figures out what's playing, and handles the scrobbling for you.

It also works for anything else you can point a microphone at — a TV in another room,

## What is scrobbling?

Scrobbling means logging what you listen to. Last.fm has been doing this since 2002:
